gonna try to go out to a track for an hour after school tomarrow , i really want to try this st out

after

adjusting my servo saver , re oiling the diffs and shocks, puttin 2 ace servos in and putting a new set of hoboa tri's on my st pro i think all my problems with steering and braking should be solved

i also did a complete set up with toe in etc and did a lot of trial and error but i am happy with the end result.

Pictures to be posted tomarrow hopefully with some action pics .

questions to all [8D]

What diff oils and shock oils are you using ?

What engine and pipe set are you using ?

what servos for throttle / brake are you using ?
Diffs

5 - 7 - 3 ( Will be changed shortly )

SH .28 with a JP 4 ( Again, in the process of buying a new engine )

Jr Es579's all around, pretty good for the price.

I want pics

got it fixed. the bevel gear stripped a few teeth and the crown was unscaved! took about 30 minutes and she's good to go, i switched out the bearings while i was in there. diffs i'm running 15/20/3 and shocks are 80/70 losi with 2 holes drilled out 1.5mm (i have a set of losi big bores in to test out, 60wt all around). engine is STS D21b with dynamite 007 HT geared 13/46 with byrons gen2, servos are hitec hs5645mg throttle/brake and ace 1313 for steering, really really good servo for the money. thinking of getting 2 more and going ace all around. next i gotta get the buggy back together for state race on saturday, oh boy.

If you are using a LIPO make sure you used an approved charger and if you are racing make sure it ROAR approved.

the two long screws that hold the bottom of the bulkhead were loose and allowed it to slip. i haven't looked in there since the last diff oil change and now have them locktited pretty good. just have to olocktite the fronts now. 3 more days to racing.

No idea, some people say its a bit short, to me, dosent make a differience, I like having 1 wheel off the ground

But if that comes out anytime soon, will definately give it a try.

I just posted what I saw.

True

Only thing thats given me greif till now has been the brakes.

And Ive sorted that out . Could flip my truck over with the stopping power of these

You don't want your brakes to totally lock up like that. Bad idea. You need to put more rear brake in and dial a bit of the front out to stop that.

Ah I was just trying that on the road today, was tuning my engine out, wanted to see what it could actually do

I normally leave my epa's at 75% brake, locks up the rear, lets the front loose a bit.

Was just trying out the fuel line instead of the throttle return spring. A bit too strong.

I actually like the power push the Hyper shoots out.

But WHAT A WORLD OF DIFFERIENCE there is with these fiber brakes.!

Absoloutely mind blowing.
