Just put BIG BORES ON MY MONSOON!
Just installed big bore shocks onto my monsoon! Can't wait to test it out. Here are some pics of my monsoon and of the big bore shocks.

RE: Just put BIG BORES ON MY MONSOON!
I took them off of my Robitronic mantis. They bolted right up but I still used the shock mounts on the towers from my mantis instead of the monsoon because the monsoon has the shock cap mounted on a bushing instead of a ball joint so I thought it would be better. You can find sets of 4 big bores on ebay, alot of them for sale are for the new Hyper st pro and are a good price and should fit too. They are the 14mm big bore shocks and not the new 16mm that are out on some new stuff.

Do you have a link. just figured that since you have them it would be easier than trying to find them

i made mine, they are the aftershock shocks. i cut the shock shaft and the shock bodies to fit, the shaft you need to retap it so the ball end can screw back on. it was simple once you got all the measurements. but before you start and cut a good pair of shocks, make sure they will fit. the shocks after they were fit to size i only have about less than a mm before they rub the axles.

Just ran my monsoon tonight and the bigger shocks made a big difference over the rough stuff, it was alot smoother and also the thinner shock fluid felt good too.

lol tell me about the CT weather, snow and ice storms over here in the norwich area, I hate the weather around here! Good thing my warhead is in pieces for its impending engine swap to a Sportwerks .26 v2 and monsoon is in pieces for maintenance and modifying or i might be really mad lol
