If I went and bought a .21 today for my truggy and it was around your price range (a little more), I'd probably get the Radical 621T.

Saw one of these run at a race last year and it was insanely fast!
I've heard great things about the Picco and Jammin. I'd take either of those too.

I was thinking about that also but its a little more $$$, I dont have a starter box yet and my budget is $350 including the starter box...
I guess the jpx .21 is a great competetion between the os 21?

after having the jammin.28 my next eingine would be the jammin.21 or the vspec

I got my OS 21 Engine from Amain for 229 with 25 coupon? OFNA starterbox is about 80-100. It would be right at your budget. I would get the OS. Easy to break in... Does take awhile and easy to tune.

Unlucky just can't handle the power, he drives a Geometro in real life too, says the 3 banger helps keep usable power on the pavement

V spec rocks, Im running the werks 2013 pipe on mine. A couple other good pipes for that engine, OS 2050 or the 2060. EB mod also has a OS pipe.

Stock out of the box, it killed the stock Jammin CRT aluminum clutch in less than 3 weeks.
We'll see how it does when Rick gets done with it.
Back on topic---
The V Specs seem to do very well using 053 pipes of any brand, along with the recommended OS 2060 pipe.(high $$$)
I am going to use a JP3 on my SPEED V Spec.
[link=http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_23_32/products_id/4637]Thunder Tiger 053 pipe[/link], same as Associated's new FT pipe.
[link=http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_23_32/products_id/9005]Dynamite 053 pipe[/link] - another good economical pipe.
Check out A Main. They sell almost anything you want/need.

RE: .21 engine cant decide...
I am running my OS 21 VZ-B V-Spec with the stock Ofna Pipe that came with my Hyper ST PRO and it works just fine.
Good pick with the OS 21 V-Spec.
