i found this on tamiya trucks exactly the same problem but his fell off not flew off but if you look th the way one side of the crack is black and one is silver exactly like mine also one side broke hier than the other i realy hope they send me a new one like they did tho him i realy need a new one lol

Any cnance there is a video of this head flying off and smacking you in the head? A you tube video? Thats the craziest thing ive ever heard of.
I would chalk it up as a lesson learned, check all bolts. Then see what them maker can do for you. I know OS and Werks back their engines, they want people to return for another engine when the time comes.
Take the engine you have and mail it to them, give a breff statment on what happened and see if they will repair it, send out a new one or send it back to you still broken. Thats what I would do. If they fix or replace it you have the chance to talk them up on customer service. If they dont fix or replace it, let the bashing begin.

lol having no engine gave me a chance to clean my truck good and clean then make a proper exhaust mount out of a coat hanger lol now i need to re clean and wait for my servos to come here are some pics

The heads are cast aluminum its just how they look if you crack them open. Its possible this one had a bad pouring, but unless its visable from the outside its hard to check for something like that.

nope these arent cast aluminium i dont think it looks to me like cast iron it weighs like a pound i think it could be a bad casting because it seems to be anodised in the crack jus like the mans on the link i realy hope i get an email saying mmm thats weired have a new one and send the old one back but i kind of also hope they give me half price on the upgrade blue aluminium one or if im realy unlucky they tell me to **** off and stop being a dooche bag and just fork out for a new one i dpnt mind buying a new one if the engine is going to last lollololoolololololol the new exhaust looks good lol

Just because you never heard of something does not mean they are crap. You are from Australia right? Well they race the Plaque swarms over there which you should have heard of and it does really well there. Well this is the same exact truck with a better motor! What about the Caster ZX-1 buggy and K8T truggy which race professionally in Australia?, they do good also but I guess since nobody has heard of it over here it is junk too right? Just because you have not heard of something (you the god of R/C or something) does not give any right to say something is crap. If you do not know then say you don't know or don't reply at all!

yep just got an email saying they havent seen this befour but they know that new truggys can hace verry odd faults they asked me for my address where i bought it from the kind of fuel and how much fuel


the only reason i can think they need my address is to send me something lol

i just got my new servos and i can lift the whole truck using one servo lol its well funy i will try get a video up in a bit

i cant get in touch with tamiya i went to the official uk tamiya representative they are closed at the moment so i should get a reply tommoro i would be quiet hapy for them to say here is 10 pounds off any tamiya parts so i can get the up grafe engine head
