Default 8ight T RTR Engine Q?

Can I put my Mach 427 engine on the lowered engine mounts and run a starter box with it? Currently it sits quite high and I am assuming this is due to the roto start plate on the back that requires additional height. Is there a blanking plate of some type also?

Thanks

Buy some smaller mounts, a 35mm flywheel, and that.

Many thanks UG0TB4NN3D, my LHS have ordered me this part today although losi tech told them that they have never tried this plate on the Mach 427.

Will any 35mm flywheel fit into the 8T? Also will I need to modify the chassis for the wider wheel?

Thanks

I think you can still use the stock flywheel, actually I am pretty damn sure since now it will be closer to the bottom of the chassis and it should be able to touch a starterbox. The backplate DOES work I use it with my mach 427.

Ya the stock fly wheel works fine once you get the lower motor mounts
