LRP .28 spec3 truggy VS Dynamite Platinum 28 Non Pull
Hi guys i will get a kyosho st-r and i want to put the lrp truggy version engine. I search at the net and i see that both engines are the same. I search more and i see some differences.... the Dynamite has a rear bearing 14x25x6 while lrp 13x24x6, so the crankshaft of the dynamite is 14mm and the lrp is 13mm.. so which engine to buy?

Just by the numbers the Dynamite would be a better motor..at least in the durability end of it..it is a .28 so it should have enough HP..

the DPM has a 13 mm crank as well, there must be a misprint........... the DPM 28 is the same motor as the XTM 457, SH 28 P6, LRP 28 Spec 2........... Dynamite motors are just overpriced SH motors...you can buy a SH 28 P6 for like dirt cheap...... the LRP 28 is the newer version of the motor and the better option...........the DPM 28 has no top end, the LRP has a little better top end..............my advice is skip the Taiwanese built engines and buy an Italian engine.......... the LRP and the DPM are both Taiwanese built sport engines........IMHO both motors are at the bottom of the barrel, you would be much better served to buy a better engine.............neither the LRP or DPM perform overly well in Truggy...both motors are pigs on fuel and lack top end.....

i think that the platinum is 9 port!! also the bearing is 14x25x6 because i see it at the manual and also i go to boca bearings and i see that for the dynamite the bearings are 14x24x6 also in fotos i see the con rod with double bushing and the wrist pin is as the lrp 21(it use double bushing) supertib i see at another forum a guy who have dynamite and lrp and he post some fotos(also you have reply at this forum) the fotos show the platinum dynamite or the stock??
