Truggy For a Noobie...?
Well I managed to get another one hooked . My Nephew wants to start racing Truggies. Now hes not a complete noob, hes has a Savage XL and a LST2, and now wants a truggy.
I want him to go straight in to a pro level kit. Saying that, he's never been on a track.
First, would that be smart.? Throwing someone whos new to racing straight up into a race kit.?
Second, which one.!?
I want him to get an X2. He likes the RC8T. Should get where im going with this.
We're now looking at the X2, RC8T, and the ST-RR.
We already have the major things, engine, radio etcc. Just gotta decide what to put them into .
All opinions welcome...

@ RC.
Yupp you should, once we've decided on what to get...
@ Patrick
My point exactly. I have all the parts for an X2. Know how it works, and theres a good local parts support. But he likes the RC8T. Now we have 0 local parts support for that truck. Hows your's going.?

Well I love my RC8T - a lot.. Had my first race with it last weekend, and did pretty well.
But the clear answer in your case would be the Jammin IMO..
One cool thing about the RC8T is, there're a lot of RC8 buggies out there, and quite a few parts change right over.. 'Course, if you don't have those there either, that doesn't help much.
Tell him to get the Jammin, and spend the extra money he would spend on shipping from the States for parts etc.. on a fancy airbrushed body, maybe in the style of Mayfield's RC8T..

Got another X2 in the family . IMHO its still one of the best trucks out there, and thats what counts I guess .
Just waiting on an order from A Main, and should be good to go.
Thanks guys.
Patrick, Mayifeld's RC8T .
Dunno what he's gonna go for, but im gonna get one done up that should be exactly the same as this
Love that body for some reason. But cant find clear X2 bodies anywhere [:@].

Brand cross-over paint-jobs might seem weird, but I think a Muggy paint job on a race-trug bod would be freakin' cool.. I'm gonna get one one of these days too...
