Vnmsgt,
I am assuming you can use the carbon fiber parts from diggity on the Brushless model as well?

The F8T stuff should be out soon if not already. Iwould suggest if you are going to run CF towers on the F8T, Make sure they are F8T towers and NOTK8T towers. Way different geometery and the F8T towers are way better.

How about motors will the cc combo fit on this kit possibly the 2200 combo.

Sorry I skipped over this post. Did not see it. Yes the CC Combo's will fit the F8T. The buggy is where some clearance issues are depending on motor. The F8T has plenty of room for whatever you may want to install.

Yep, 74mm motors will not fit in the caster buggy as a dual pack setup, but they will fit in the truggy no problem.

It has been released, we sold out the first bunch and more are on the way. Should be here in 2 weeks.
The www.rccaraction.com/castertruggy has helped spark interest. That was a pro version with the rtr motor and esc.

Hey, do you guys think its worth the extra 50% to get the Pro version??
I'm just a casual driver ('basher' - hate that term) and its a big difference in price from the roller to the pro.
Do they use the same diffs in both versions?
CVD don't bother me as they're still half dogbone anyway. Aluminium battery straps I couldn't care about.
I know the aluminium grade is better on the pro, but will the roller still be a durable truck?

Done. On the slow boat to Aust.
I think I'll be very happy when it gets here, we have the RTR buggy in stores over here
and its a very nice, solid piece of car.
Should be a nice step up for me from plastic traxxas.

RE: **Caster Racing F8T Brushless Truggy**
Here's a link to our monthly race here in Singapore... Though, this was the first official EP 1/8 Truggy race for us... So the majority of us were first timers
Anyway there were three F8t's... One is the RTR but has the HW 150a + 1880kv fusion. (driven by me)... with the stock cover on 2x2s 4000 25c LiPos
Another is the Race roller (I think) with the same setup as the above. also with the stock cover...
And lastly another F8T race roller running Tekin Rx8 combo (If not mistaken) with the red cover
Anyway after all three heats, mains and many forfeits from almost everyone , the winner was the F8T pro with the Fusion + hobbywing...

RE: **Caster Racing F8T Brushless Truggy**
Well I've had my Truggy running for a couple of days and I have to say I love it!
By far my favourite RC, as said before I've never had a 1/8 proper kit before but the
handling and strength is awesome. I fitted it out with all brand new gear and have not
even put a scratch on it yet.
If there were more rollers in stock I'd think about getting a second one for spares.
Only one non-Caster component has let me down so far, can you guess what it might be -

RE: **Caster Racing F8T Brushless Truggy**
Very close, I was using a HW 80A esc because my MMM hasn't come back from repairs yet.
I thought I would try one because they fit them to the RTR's.
Unfortunately I didn't see the forum posts saying not to change timing on them.

I actually dropped it I think 2 settings lower to 7.5deg.
The lipos seem OK, the packaging has been melted off but no puffing and they took 250mah to top up.

Holy %@%^ Batman,
I have never seen one do that! I am going to copy paste your pics and put them in the Caster forums! I've seen a few smoke, etc.... but never a fire.
