I might want a truggy ....

Hey everyone

I have been doing a little looking around on here ( the truggy board) and I'm starting to think I need one.

I have recently just gotten back into the hobby... I picked up a 3.3 Tmaxx a couple weeks ago and the addiction is already starting to spread.

We set up a oval track over the weekend and I was running my t maxx against a friends HPI Truggy... not sure of the model ATM. Well needless to say, he spanked me everytime. The tmaxx is not set up for racing obviously.
We are starting to get a pretty good circle of guys buying nitros and I we have plans of building a track. Nothing serious.... just something to mess around on and drink a few "pops" on a saturday afternoon.

SO..... Im thinking I need a truggy to keep up on the track... I kind of like the idea of a KIT because I like messing around and building.... but Im not opposed to a RTR if its a better buy.

What brand/model/ etc. would you suggest for someone...... $$ is also a concern. I dont have a budget set really as Im just starting to look.... but I think something around the $500 range. OR I would buy something a little higher end used even.

Im not a weekend racer so I cant have something I need to switch diff. oils and shock oils everytime I run... know what I mean ?

Thanks

PS.... in case your going to ask electric or nitro..... NITRO ALL THE WAY !!!!!!!<br type="_moz" />

Serpent is good, but at $600 for the kit, it is well over budget. For around $500, you'll probably be stuck with a RTR. Maybe a Kyosho Inferno NEO ST.
