That was almost too much to handle at one time. I would love to have been standing in the runway when they did those low passes.

Greetings from Finland

Impressive

Strange
Some decades ago that sound did mean death and destruction. Then some years later nobody did not want hear it, everybody wanted to hear whistling sound of jets. And now that sound is meaning "good old times".

looking good, til 2.21 minutes in, then it freezes, the place the vid i put on was shot from is an adjacant private field, known as being the best vantage point for low runs, the guys in the displays come right over your heads, the CAA dont like it, but are powerless to stop it, nice little earner for the farmers!!!

It's nearly 17 minutes long and plays faultlessly for me. Sorry you were not able to watch it.

When you have watched the entire vid you will appreciate the footage more.

Tom,
This has to be one of the best air show videos that I've ever seen.

does it feature the mass flypast at the end? jaw dropping if it does, 2 years ago, at the LMA main event, at RAF Cosford, we tried to do this with models, i think we had over a hundred engines airborne, everything rom singles, to 5 20 foot B17s

does it feature the mass flypast at the end?
Alan, yes it does. It features formation flying, flights of 4 flying, then tail chasing single file, gigantic sweeping climbing turns and wing overs, all in single file and going in opposite directions so Spitfires are coming and going at the same time across show center, then singles flying over the runway and pulling up into loops, and slow rolls, and just plain fast flyby's. Then near the end it shows them all landing and finally taxiing by slowly where you can almost reach out and shake the pilots hand.

And if the missus and little children are not in the house, turn your speakers up loud.

at legends, and the BoB tribute shows, the flying does not start till after 13.30 hours, barely giving you time for4 things, the museum, the armed vehicle museum, show atractions, and the all important flightline walk, this is where you get in amongst all the airfames out there, you get to talk to the pilots, and take pictures, but no touching, there are armed guards in themed WW11 gear, with authentic weapons, but dont worry, its enactment, but they do keep you away-about 3 foot away!!!!! then there is the bit added abouttaxing close, the closest you can get, and smell thegass fumes, is on the ramp near the armed warfare vehicle part of the museum, if any of you guys are coming over here, i ill help you with your itinery, there is so much history over here, its well worth the trip, ihave talked many tomes with american vets, fort, P47, mustang , all manner of pilots, and have been thrilledto listen to them, in the american part of the museum, is a glass wall, inscribed withan etched B17, there is the exact amount there thatwhere lost in operations-there are lots, i love the place, and feelproud of the guys who keep it all moving, ifany of you are coming over, let me know, wont you?
