Hello guys, I just finished my spitfire , and I need some help.I'm getting ready maiden my spit soon. I was wondering, should I use 90 degrees, full flaps. Any help would be great.

Default Achtung! Spitfire!

Very nice looking spitfire!

Why not 90 degree, that's what I do on mine and it works great.

I don't use the flaps when there is a strong head wind.

Vic

Good luck!

Default flap

Actually is 80 degrees and it helps a lot when landing. The Spit looks great, who's kit?

very nice Rye, welcome to the BT club
do you have any more closeups? like of the gear,
esp. the tailwheel? I see that it retracts correct?

I use only half flaps on mine during landing, about 40 degrees,
my full flaps are only at 70 degrees? I have used them once
as the half for mine seem to slow it down fine
it is also very stable when the flaps are down.

what gear did you use, mains and tailwheel?

Todd
