Have Quadra 35. Need warbird for it.
What do you guys think about a Quadra 35 in one of the 70ish size ESM warbirds? Or maybe a 80 size VAL?
Thanks

80 - 90 inch warbird would be good. How ever not all warbirds in that wingspan range a Q35 would be good. What warbirds are you looking at. Example a 90" Bear, Sea Fury, P47 a Q35 would not be enough unless they come out super light 25 -28 lbs total including all nose weight you will have to add.

A smaller airframe like a p-51 or a6m, in 80" range would be good, I had a quadra 40 in a Midwest AT-6 82", it was an awesome flyer
I currently have a Brison 40cc in the Ziroli 70" P-47,, it's under 20lbs and flies great too, IMO the Q35 would be plenty for that airframe
I actually have a NIB Quadra 35 too,
I may put it in the Gene Barton p-51b kit I have, or put it in the p-47 and put the 40cc in the p-51,,
nice to have choices
