But it is not so much a kit as just the fiberglass parts. The builder is left completely on their own for producing some kind of structure to reinforce the fuselage and mount the engine and gear. Where I believe the Sist is a proper kit.
Hello there, I am interested in what weight your Petrausch ended up at? And of course which engine did you put in it?

Sorry to say I got sidetracked and have not built it! But Herr Vogelsang has and here is a link to his build thread on RCScalebuilder:
http://www.rcscalebuilder.com/forum/...630&PN=1&TPN=1
So, 29 lbs and DLE111. Initially I was waiting for a builder we know to produce a set of CNC formers and bulkheads for the plane, but he never did the project. In that time I have become enamored with jets and am building my second. But the Fw-190 is waiting in the wings and will be built as Goetz did.

Well, yes, I have the kit, gear, spinner and fan. Please look at the build thread on rcscalebuilder. The moldings are very impressive. And very light. The gear looks fantastic. This is all as supplied by www.vogelsang-aeroscale.com here in the US.

Thank you.
I am in touch with Barbara Petrausch, she is very kind and patience.
Unfortunately no instruction in english language, right?

No instructions, period. It is not hard to make it all up but some experience with molded planes would be helpful.

But is the kit complete of all parts?
All wood parts too?

There are no wood parts with the kit. You get the fuselage, wings, stabs, flying surfaces as molded with detail. There is no instructions, hardware, or any of that stuff. You decide where to cut hatches for servos, horns, hinging, firewall and engine mounting, landing gear mounting. Everything.

Thank you husafreak.
But other kits like for example SisT, ScaleWings, ASscaleparts are without parts too?
Except the thread in RCSB there are other forum where I can see his building?
I searched in the web but this brand doesn't seems 'famous' like other ones...

Agreed, I think you would be happier with the Sist?

I want to hope there are drawings which show where to cut fuselage for example to fit fin...where to put hardware (servos, components of retracts, ecc, ecc) I think it is important for the weight and balance of the model...dimensions of the woods parts to cut...
In this case I think it will not be a problem..

When its claimed that someone has a scale 1/ 4.5 Fw 190 at 29 lbs, I am sorry but I get very sceptical. Not saying that they are lying, but I do not expect to get to that weight myself. They must have some magic abilities that I dont have.

Especially in the case of a composite plane,.Most of the weight is already decided for you...the gear, the engine, ballast needed.

My experience tells me one ends up in the area of 35-37 lbs.

OK you make a good point about the weight. I merely copied the weight Goetz put at the beginning of his build thread on RC Scalebuilder. Here is a link to his website description:
http://www.vogelsang-aeroscale.com/petrauschfw190.html
So you will see it is shown here as 36+ lbs. Sorry, I am just copying numbers! Goetz told me it was extremely light and can be flown very slowly, he felt it was the best flying of the Fw-190's on the market due to its light weight and that is why I bought it. I am not a scale guy and I think most of the time if they are damaged it is on landing. So this light weight would be a great help.
Since you are dealing directly with Petrausch maybe they can give you some data for weight, maybe they can supply wood parts cut for you or other information I do not have? I also would like more information as I believe Goetz only got 15 or so flights on his before other projects cut his flying time. He told me the DLE111 is much more power than needed but next he will try a really big 3 blade prop

Ciao husafreak,
Thank you very much.
For sure I'll ask to Petrausch directly and it is a nice idea, thanks.
I have in mind for it my radial evolutio radial engine of 99 cc..

Gosh, I have no idea about that radial engine. I chose the DLE111 purely from a reliability standpoint. And Goetz used it. He said they fly the Petrausch with an 80cc in Germany. But it needs much weight up front. I do know the Evolution engines look beautiful!

Barbara Petrausch wrote to me it seems ok...
But I'd like to have your opinion too

I confirm the dimensions are ok.
I have doubts about power and weight...
