Kwik-Fill Fueling Valve Location D-VII
Nubby needs to know the best location on my Fokker D-VII fuselage for my kwik fill fueling valve. The tank is located behind the firewall. the sides of the front cowl area are pretty thick , but let me know how others have installed these valves. The Fokker is 1/4 scale busa. Thanks for your input!

Your better off going with a fuel dot set up vs the kwik valves. The kwik valves will eventually go bad and start sucking air, stick open, jamb up etc. not worth the money or hassel.
Currently building one also. Probably will mount it somewhere in the cowl sides with the louvers.
just my 2 cents

Thanks Warbird Man. Should have found this site sooner, could have saved some money and time. I'll check out the fuel dot route. Good luck on your build. Sounds like I need to beef up my axle also.
