fiberglassing help
Hello....I am fiberglassing and I am sanding after the application of the glass cloth before application of the second epoxy coat to seal the weave . I have read some posts where the author sands only after the second coat of epoxy to seal the weave . Which is best ?
One post suggessts to seal the weave with primer paint.........another suggests mix epoxy and micro ballons and seal the weave with this mixture .Advice please .
Thank you for the input in advance

RE: fiberglassing help
I don't mind sanding at all. I like to see the finish come alive. I use 1 ounce glass cloth with Z poxy or West systems. I recently started using a 2" foam roller which works much better than a small brush I did use. I sand the high spots after the first coat and either put a second epoxy coat on or just primer and sand until I get the finish desired.
