are the inline engines opposed firing? the video of the mustang sounds like they both fire at the same time. like a saito inline.. I wouldnt want that. opposed firing should have more of a pering sound.. its all in german so i donno.. but i sure like them..nice work

These are very nice motors!

They are pretty expensive !!

The EZ50 is $1256 and the IL100 is $3191

You can get the new Saito 56 cc twin 4-stroke for $949.

I am sure they are very nice motors, but that's pretty steep for a 4-stroke. They are much smoother with less vibration than a 2-stroke in that size, but more than double the price for the same 2-stroke motor like a DA-50?

Not sure it's worth that?

That 3 jug inline is exactly what i need for my PCM 109s I just don’t thing the 85cc is enough for this bird. I have 2 of them and have put off building them until i can find what i feel is a suitable motor. But I like my planes faster than most.

well in fact the are more expensive than a DA-50 but the sound is phenomenal and they can also be used for acrobatics [link=http://www.rcmovie.de/video/19a1166fa15753157ea1/Kolm-Engines]Video[/link]; and quality has it´s price...

Are the prices retail or MSRP? Great motors for sure, but I don't know how many will be sold with those prices. Saito has their new twin (opposed cylinders) and has a inline in the works too so I think the prices need to drop a little if they want to compete with them. Good idea, nice motos, but not sure about the $

I dont think the prices are that far out of line for what you are getting. Look at what the mokis cost. My german is bad do these have exposed push rods for the valves or not?

The 3W-110iR2 is $1950 ($1,000 less) and puts out a lot of horse power. How is the vibration on this motor?

I do like the way a 4-stroke runs, but wow $$$

I could get a Wren turbo prop for a little more than that

New Saito "inline twin" in the works eh???? hmmm maybe they have been listening to me afterall moaning about the need for a big 2 x 220 inline twin.... Finally might get the motivation to finish and fly my Vailly Hurri and Aerotech P-51 if this news is true. I wont bother until a decent non-chain saw sounding donk becomes available...

Anyone tried the Roto 85cc 4C engine? It's not in-line but big 4c nonetheless.

We didnt talk price I just had him put me on the list. I tried to buy the one he had at topgun along with my 150 but i couldnt talk him out of it. He told me the 130 would have about the same power as the moki 150 radial.

here are the specs.

http://www.kolmengines.com/REIHENMOTOREN.93.0.html

this is going to be great!
