I am building a Sea Fury Gols Edition .61-.91. What engine with prop would be best?

I AGREE !

DLE 20 would be perrrrrfect for the business end of this Sea Fury for a gasser..........
less money, less mess less expensive to run, good solid, reliable gasser.

Saito 100 if your a glow burner..........

Yep that Saito is a glo guzzler. A gal may last you 2 weekends if you are a flyer and at $18 $20 a gal vs $ 4 a gal for gas...

the TF sea fury is a big bird , so mabey the small gasser might be a good choice

The gasser would be a good choice simply because the airplane builds notoriously tail heavy and you will need the weight up front anyway. Then there is the additional perks of cheap fuel and user friendly operation. Last, but certainly not least in my book, the ability to use just about any sort of finish without the need to be glow fuel resistant.

I had an OS 120 pumped in mine with a 15-7 Graupner 3 blade prop. Worked well

Indeed and with electric filling in for .40 sized and lower. I think 60 sized might be still be best served by glow as its kind small for gas and expensive for electric. The problem is that my favorite size is the 60 sized model.

I use an O.S. 1.08 with an APC 16 x 8 side mounted with a pits muffler. All that fits inside the cowl to keep the scale looks. I also use a McDaniels glow driver and 6 volt 2000 mah pack mounted on the firewall. With all that, I still had to add weight to the nose - 10 oz. All fueled up it weighs a little over 14 lbs. I ended up using the Robostrut ready 100 degree Robart retracts (I think 632?) that are capable handling 12-24lb aircraft. By far it is the best flying warbird I have...it flys fast and still slows down for landing. Have fun, its a great airplane!
