Default T-28 Trojan

I'm looking for a T-28 Trojan kit for my first warbird build. Other than Iron Bay and Dave Platt, I haven't really found kits.

Anyone want to suggest a kit? I don't want an ARF or RTF (Iron Bay/Byron doesn't count since it is so much work).

Thanks

Hi

I have a Fifth Scale Pica Kit I might part with. Have to check storage, as it has been a while since I last looked at it.

You might have a look at Vance Mosher's offering.

Thanks. I hadn't seen those.

Since I haven't built a Pica kit, I'm not real knowledgeable about them. I'll do a bit of a search and find what i can find.

The Pica is a good kit, but the model is "only" sport scale, but it looks good. The fuse is too oval and not round like the full scale. The Platt kit is dead on scaletake a look at the picture in Platt's website. It is a bit pricey, however, and makes a larger, heavier airplane. Either would not be a difficult build with some previous kit building experience.

I think if I go to a 1/5 scale, I'll likely go to the Iron Bay/Bryan kit for the fiberglass fuse.

Thanks

Ok, got to David's website. it had something to do with his menu thing on my home computer, but it works fine on my office one.

I think the Platt plane looks really nice, but I can't see much difference from the Vangaurd kit just looking at the two. My eyes are not the best "judge" of scale, though.
