RE: spitfire with a differance
i see its not considered a proper warbird unless its going 150 flat out, with a weed whacker up front, can you guys not even see the techonolgy in this airfix size machine, that flies? i am in wonderment that a 1/72 scale spitfire can be built, and flown with radio, i look in awe at the new parkzone offering of a 20inch span mosquito, and think? WHAT THE************ the techonolgy we so much take for granted simply staggers me, does it not you guys?

RE: spitfire with a differance
must admit, the profile bit does look silly, it should be within the realms of possibility to form a scaleish fuzz in foam, that vid of the kingfisher is amazing, wonder just how small it will go? will be spy in the shape of a simple Bee ever be done? meanwhile, i have ordered the parkzone 20inch span mosquito, couldnt resist

It looks pretty good in the air. I suppose full fuselage would cost slightly more to produce, and would be more fragile.
Building a full fuselage one should be quite feasible, on your own too. Just have to miniaturize the building process...
I suppose much of the warbird crowd enjoys small scale details in their planes. Including lots of small details in a tiny aircraft might be a challenge.
