half of wing glued ... mocked up with center ...I left the last 2 ribs off for now and the center section isn't glued...I have to wait on the Sierra landing gear...struts and wood block precut before I can glue the center...also I'm using Sig wing joiners so I have to add some shear webbing to the section between the ribs on both wing halves... this was suppose to be a one piece wing, but even with my truck I couldn't transport it...the last picture is a panoramic pic so it is a little distorted

Figured out the Sig wing joiner(I hope)...added 1/8" ply between ribs 3 to 5 plus I also added 1/32" ply behind the 1/8" this should bring it flush with the other half of the joiner when I add 1/8" shear webs from rib 6 to 8...on rib 4 I had to cut the little tab off at the bottom and will fill in with a scrap piece

well I think I figured out the wing joiner...I must have had it slip a fraction when I drilled it...looks like the wing tip is 1/4" higher so I just added a little more dihedral ..

Still working on the wing...building a rear wing joiner from 1/2" aluminum channel and bar stock....using it mostly for alignment but might add a screw for strength...

wings and fuselage together for 1st time..I epoxied the struts into the wing...after doing this I found out that the wheels would be toed out...on side more than the other...I searched and looked to find if the struts could be adjusted, after looking over the setup I found a set screw in the wheel yoke I thought I could loosen it up but when trying the whole strut turned in the block..I got the struts adjusted to a straight ahead mode with no toe in or out...hopefully this was the correct way to adjust them...

That sounds good. Be very careful not to insert any toe-in. That only works for automobiles !

WOW!...I'm very impressed with http://www.sierragiant.com/ ... I bought a set of struts from them for my Stuka....I was having problems with a toe out condition...I emailed them 2 days ago explaining the problem and asking about adjustments and lack of instructions...well I just received a phone call from Darrell of Sierra ... we had a nice conversation, he explained how they were adjusted and that 3 wood screws are to be used to hold that adjustment...anyway I'm very satisfied with their customer support...

Dale,
How's stuka coming along? I really enjoyed and appreciate your detailed pictures of wing joiners.
I'm gonna start my Stuka very soon. Finishing building table in garage, and need to order sierra gear. Hopefully I'll start this year
