Default Corsair/Reno Racer

I'm interested in doing a Cosair in a Reno Racer scheme. Searched here,Googled, etc. All I found was the red#57 Racer scheme and a couple still in Warbird schemes. Can anyone post some pics or a site I can go to for more patterns? THANKS,RACJ

Check out the Corsair Information Forum. We have several Super Corsairs and racers there. It's a free site:

Here's some of the links from the site:

found it! Check out this book for very good color photos of several Reno corsairs. It was my baseline reference for my "Budweiser Light" bash of a TF Gold Corsair. Unfortunately all my photos are pre-digital and I don't have a scanner. "Raceplane Tech: Round-Engine Racers volume 2: Bearcats and Corsairs." (ISBN 1-58007-035-3 )

There have been a very limited number of Corsairs that have participated at Reno and even fewer that have done so in non-military paint schemes. Here are a couple more.

Big Hummer

Lancer 2

Chad Viech,I'm seeing that there are very few Corsairs in civilian colors. I do like both of the planes you show.Any sites I can get more pics of these to see complete schemes??

ARUP, I like the white with blue trim (1st pic) you show. Do you have a name of the plane or a site I can search??

Walt, The book woud help me a lot but the only three copies I can find, each cost more than I paid for the airframe. THANKS for the pics guys, keep um coming.

I agree,Lancer11 looks very nice.Something like this is what I'm searching for. Airframe is old Northwest Hobby Corsair, completely glassed so paint job could be done easily. These were stand off (good distance!LOL) sport fliers. I'd like to do a Reno scheme so I could fly the snot out of it. It would make a super week end flier. I have a couple giant scale warbirds already. Was there a Corsair in the Aeroshell scheme?? I think it will get flown much more as a sport/speed plane. THANKS for all the help you guys are providing.
