Guys I can't figure out the tail gear linkage. Would some one please help me I am pulling my hair out? Here is the problem, I installed the gear per plans. I cut a length of nyrod and tubbing to the correct length. If the gear is down, it works fine. When the gear is retracted, it only turns one way! The other way it pulls the **** out of the servo.

Are you using the YA tail wheel? If so, be sure the the linkage is in the CENTER of the control arm. It is basically a B&D nose gear made from a wing mount gear. This way the linkage can slide freely both directions in the gear up position. I use B&D for my pattern planes had the same problem the first time I set them up. They have been flawless ever since
