RE: A Few Joe Nall 2011 Pics for you
I didn't take as many photos as I wanted to because I was enjoying the flying waaaaay to much to snap pics. I've shot thousands of pics in years past @ Nall so this year I decide I'd kick back and enjoy the day - not worry about getting the perfect shot. I did have the perfect seat though. Center left front under a great shape tree. Temps were in afternoon were upper 80's with plenty of susnshine, no wind, and 90% humidity... You were either under a shade tree or miserable!
Pics were shot with a Canon XTI & Canon 70-200 F2.8 IS USM.
I did manage to get some great footage of Mac Hodges flying his B-29. I'll post it on youtube tonight and post the link here.

RE: A Few Joe Nall 2011 Pics for you
Just came across your pics from last year's Joe Nall. I'm From North Carolina fairly close to the Joe Nall site. Last year was my first year to attend. I can't wait for May 2012 to get here being 6 weeks away. I took quite a few pics myself. There was a P-47 Thunderbolt at the main scale flight line that had an engine sound like no other sounding like a race car at Daytona. I did some research and found the engine was from Germany known as a Kolm. This engine is a 3 cylinder inline. I hope you get back for 2012.
