Thank you everyone. We had an emotional week end with our large family and many friends. My father in law sure did carve out a large place in all our hearts. The family came together to help him stay in in his home right up to the end. Many sacrifices. Every one of my 7 children took their turns staying with him. So proud of them all. I know this is off topic, but this is just pouring out of me right now.
I'm getting back to the shop and moving forward again. Pictures of cockpit work will be upcoming.

Making some parts for the cockpit. Here are the ordinance consoles and the gun sight. I use gloss black, a little flat black, and micro balloons mixed together to make a paint that looks like the crackle paint they used on these parts. The gun sight is made from parts in the Dynamic Balsa kit. The switch consoles are a mod from that same kit. The resin parts are not scale enough. The one on the left side doesn't even have the selector switch for the gun sight light. I add this and also make the taller.

Hello all. I have ordered some new actuators for my canopy system. I will install them on the Corsairs in the shop right now and post the results. Once I have them adapted and am sure it all works as planned, it will be added to what we offer as a power system for the canopy. The pricing will change slightly. It will go down, as this new system will require fewer parts and less work to produce. It will also require less space in the air frame.
Should have them in my hands in a couple days. Then we will jump on install and pictures.

Hello all,
It has taken some time, but finally our Corsair has done it's maiden flight.

Can only say that the model flies really well, and was well worth all the effort.
Keep up the good work!
Kind regards,
Christiaan and Bruno

Hey Gary,
Looking to do something that I have not seen anyone else do you that I think would look amazing which is to try installing the 250-7 instead of the 5. I was wondering if you had thoughts on this. Its .2 in less in diameter and weights about 800 grams more which I think are favorable numbers. My biggest concern is the length from mount to prop flag which is 9.25 inches as compared to the 5 cylinder's 8 inches. How long are your stand-offs? Do you think this is possible without a complete overhaul of the firewall location. I'll look at mocking this up as well but would like to hear what you think given your experience.
Thanks,
Woody
