RE: Warbirds over Delaware
I've been twice and it is a great event. Get there early as you have to be bused in from the parking lot at the state park. Here's all the details http://www.delawarerc.org/warbirds.htm

I was there today. Flew my PT 19! I was the only one there with a PT 19. What great show!!! The B29 and the B26 crews put on a heck of a good show! The Horizon corsair crews were awseome as well. ALL pilots and their planes did a fantastic job. The staff did a super job as well. Might try and get back one other day before it ends. Worth the money to attend no doubt!!!

199 pilots, you have one in the desert, me, but thats ok. Enjoy the flag my father delivered and raised with John. That American flag was flown over Afghanistan on the 4th of July. I hope you guys have a great time this year. I will be there next year with my P-51 for some straffing runs. I look forward to seeing many pics. Put as many as you can in this forum. can't wait

cabin6248, Thanks for the flag. The flag ceremony was beautiful. I think you would have been proud. Thanks for what you are doing in the desert as well. You are not forgotten.

My pleasure, hope you are having a blast there. Are you still at the field? Its 0255 in the AM here right now. Over 100 degrees with a full moon.

Here are a couple of our videos. The first is Mac Hodges entire B-29/Bell X-1 show. The other is an overview of Wednesday's flying.
