RE: Warbirds over Delaware
We have LOTS more photos. We've been coming back with over 2000 a day. By the time we get home and unload the cameras, it is already 10 PM, and we are exhausted. It's a short day today, so I'll try to get a lot more shots for you after I mow the grass.
I thought cabin6248 would enjoy this video of the flag ceremony. The flag flew in combat over Iraq, and he got it to us in time for Warbirds. [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HhE8KbNFnDs]Warbirds Over Delaware - Flag Ceremony[/link]

I went back yesterday, the wife and I. 22 WWI warbirds in the air at the same time. Seen one go down in the corn, but didn't see what happened. I don't think he got hit by anyone. I simply had a blast! Will be ready next year. Have to build a corsair or P47 this winter that I can fly next year. Scott, and Roger, the pics and videos were fantastic!! Thanks for taking the time to post them. Also, call me when they call my name this evening for the JR 12 channel Tx!!! Tom, thanks for your service!! Watch yer six!! get home safe!

Roger,
Please call me Tom. I am glad to hear that everyone enjoyed the flag. For the record, the flag was flown over Afghanistan. I reall wished I could have been there, but that is the least I could do for you guys, since I could not play. Next year, unless something else comes up, I will be there and be camping at the field, since I live in Felton Delaware. Hopefully I will see you guys sometime in Oct when I get back. I saw the clip for youtube; my father and John hooked and raising the flag and Fast Eddie reading the story. Good stuff.
Happy flying

We had a great time also at the 20th annual WOD event! Many thanks to Pete and Dave for a great Warbird show! I took several photos and videos at the event and I have them posted on the MAN website at: www.modelairplanenews.com as well as at our forum if you want to check them out! Great weather, fantastic planes and amazing piloting skills! Wow!
