Default F-35 on Catapult

The F-35 had it's first catapult test this week. Check out those elevators on high rates...

Did you see the story under the video where they said "the thing weighs well over a ton, and is pushed into the air with its own thrust and a s**t-ton of water-powered oomph with what appears to us as minimal effort." They did say well over, so I guess thats just an easy way to say "I don't know how much it weighs, but its a lot."

Hey rifraff, Escondido is my old stomping grounds. San Pasqual class of '86. I used to help manage the Hobby Town when it was over by the Home Depot.
