Thank you Jose, I finally got the opportunity to get back to my friend's shed to collect the aeroplane. I removed the stencils and it looks good.
w1nd6urfa - There is no evidence that any of the "F" models was ever painted in the "Naturality" colour scheme. I wish it was, because it is my preferred scheme.
I hope one day to do an Emil in the scheme you have in your post.

One of the most amazing things about this hobby is the people that so willingly assist through the journey.
This time it was my friend Brian who volunteered his shed and skills to paint the larger surfaces.
While we were discussing this couple of weeks ago, Brian's neighbour offered us the use of his much larger shed and his own painting skills (he repair cars as a hobby and spray paint a lot of body work)... He doesn't even know me.
Today, the neighbour was busy, so Brian did the spray gun work with the RLM 65 (in the neighbour shed). The result is awesome.
It did not came well in the photos as it is not contrasting much to the primer colour.

Thank you Brad330I.
I am not opening the champagne yet... I am yet to see the dry paint result, but my friend told me we will need to do another light coat of the green as some primer is visible through.
This was planned for tonight, but the temperature is predicted to be too low for painting.

Are you aiming for the "just out of the factory" clean look or a weathered look?
I prefer the weathered look and in that case you want the paint to be uneven and some primer to show through
I'm sure you know how dirty these machines looked in real life:

w1nd6urfa - It is not about what I want, it is about skill level
This is my first ever paint job, and for this time, "factory fresh" will do.
When I will have my own shed and will be able to practice the painting, I may try to go one better and weather it a bit.
Cheers,
Eran

Fair enough, get this beauty on the air and we'll sort out some finishing later

The temperature was OK to get the job done, so here is the result of the hard work.
There are few touch-ups to do, and then clear coat and we are done.

On Wednesday we did the first clear coat session. I had to re-mask the cockpit (not a fun activity).
The good news is that we completed all the bottom section of the aeroplane that night.
Tomorrow we plan to do the final session, a clear coat on the top.

It has been a while since I got the clear coat applied.
Unfortunately, some unforeseen events prevented me from working on the ME-109 since, but, it is back on the table and ready for some work.

Thank you Jose, I am trying to finish it for final ground tests within the next couple of weeks.
We have a public display day at our club at the end of the month and I may have it on static display there.
My "co-pilot" for the test flight is out of action due to health issues for couple of month, so it may delay the planned test flight, as he is the one granting me the access to the full scale airfield.
As to weathering, at the moment I will go ahead as is. I am not at the required skill level with my painting (yet), and when I am, I can always add it.

If you are considering the OS 160FX, but want petrol power, you should consider the MVVS 30 SP(slant plug), which was my original pick for my build until it was required for another aeroplane.
Ihave attached some dimensions comparison (they are from the "normal" plug configuration, but engine dimensions are identical) and a photo showing the slant plug model.
Jose - Thank you for the clarifications,
Eran

Jose - I am ready for set-up tips if you have them. I know you provided me with some of the information before, but I would like to know what you ended up actually setting up on your own aeroplane.
Flaps and oil-coolers flaps movement, ailerons / elevator dual rates settings, did you use expo on anything (did you find any surface too sensitive)?
Any CG amendments since I got my plans?
As to the engine, I am using the MVVS 40cc petrol engine.
