103" Skyraider with folding wing flight video
I’ve been working on a design for a folding wing for the AD-5 Skyraider for some time. My first AD-5 has a three piece fixed wing. After trying several different designs for actuating the folding wing, I have installed a hydraulic system. The link below is to the Skyraider flight video. We have been having so much rain in the Northeast it has taken more than a month to get another chance to fly the plane. The day the video was made the runway had standing water on it.
