OK Here are the Shindinmachine 109 gear I have been waiting for and well worth the wait...a work of art They are going to fit exact to the gear rails and the strut length is perfect...great job Lenny The toe is is going to be very easy to adjust so it will only be a matter of getting the retract mechanisms bolted to the rails...simple. The only issue I found was the spring strength. However, I called Lenny and he was pleased to work with me on the fine tuning...he was very interested in what the gear may need to be correct. The springs are on the way and I will post when I get them. These gear have no welds anywhere...its all machined and bolted together...I really like them Now just waiting for the tail wheel assembly he is working on.

Ticketec.... I couldn't have said it better!!.. I have been feeling a little sick lately..lol As for the FW 190. If you only knew. I have three flying, three under construction, both Dora and Anton and have built so many, I've lost count. I'm not sacrificing the Dora for the ME109.. just letting one go for space.. It'll always be number one for me. The ME is just an experiment.. Something different as I was challenged to do something other then a FW[and it wasn't going to be an allied bird[:'(] [X(] I did just get a Anderson TA152.. once things calm down, I'll be back on another FW. I've been trying for three months now to get some metal bell cranks from Sierra to no avail.. The wing design of one prevents the servos from sitting outside the wing. When I get these, I'll have another Dave Platt 1/5 scale Anton ready for glass.. Looking forward to it.
The ESM Dora really came in-between the Holman and platt builds.

Semi-customer service is sooooo frustrating....have you tried going through someone else that may do business with Sierra? My P40 didnt fly this week because of a bad gear weld that cracked while adjusting the toe in...fortunately Al with Robart responded to my email and the part was ordered today....$40 with shipping included to replace a brand new part that has never left the ground. I didnt bother with going through the issue with warranty, I just ordered the part...im ready to fly this thing Anyway Ram, I have been looking at the 109 canopy and have read through your instructions so I am ready to go to Hobby Lobby for some wood and search for the mini hinges...and where did you get those nifty latches for the canopy and fuselage hatch?

Don't worry about the hinge, one is in the package. The latch was purchased on RCU and I'm waiting on that person to re-list so I can purchase a few more. I use them on a lot of parts for my FW's. The fuselage latch was custom made and took several hours to construct. I can include the parts for this if you'd like also. Just send me a reminder email. You'll have to do the dirty cutting work.[&:]As for the bell cranks, I wouldn't know where else to look. If you have some suggestions, I'd be very great full as I'm beyond frustrated and I tried to make them to no avail out of G10. They had too much slop![:@]
Looking at your p-40 has interested me and I considered the ESM 50cc only due to the wing being two parts.. Time will tell.

I believe their 4-3/4 but I just purchased some Glennis wheels which are 5-1/2. They'll fit when I adjust that rear spar when I flip the wing. School may be perminately out for me as the government is finding more medical nonsense and are trying to make me un-employable which means no more school through them..[:@] which also means I may have more time to build.. Time will tell.

The problem is that rear spar.. Can you shoot some pictures of that as my wing is in the box still. Itll either have to be dremeled and reinforced or moved back. What do you think? When I get to this point, I'll post.
