Thread.. No thanks![:'(] That'll pop up when completed. I have a funny feeling that your hinges will be there Saturday.. at least that's what the post man said.. Unless..... I worked on mine tonight, placing the horrizontal stab on and the U-style wire according to the instructions.. I attemped to do as some mention with all these special parts and unless you want to butcher your bird there, you're not getting this in without a fight. KEEP IT SIMPLE!!! They make that opening just large enough for their methods. I spent several hours doing these special modifications and attempting to use kevlar.. Pain in the *****!!! I ended up just using insulated heavy duty steel wire purchased from my LHS rated for a plane this size here like the instructions mention. Just don't use the crap it comes with!.. JUNK! I'm sure some of you will be more sucessful here but I just had it!

Also, as posted earlier, my stab tube was off.. There's a good reason for this.. China man was having an off day! The hole on one side was higher then the other and the holes were larger. When I placed the stab together, they were off so I had to use some painters masking tape to pull one side down which was easy to do due to the larger hole's. If I centered then using tape (which I tried, nice method), my horizontal stab would've been off!

Anyhoo.. Got it done using BVM aeropoxy as I have nothing but time and this stuff is the strongest!..

Forgive the room.. It's my junk used to build this kit..EVERYWHERE!! .

here are some items of interest Ram The cable tensioners are pictured, the outside set are SWB and the inside set are home made You will need the swivel ball links...Dubro makes them as good a what Rocket City used to make. The muffler is very nice but will require a wide cowl since the header is so thick.

Thanks for the info and help! I finished the stabs and controls which just need some gorilla glue and more time to cure. I'm also waiting for my wheels to be released from customs so I can get on the wings, they've had them for over a week now![:@] I look forward to seeing those Glennis beauties on her.

Yeah, there were a few I'd like to pause on! Especially the squadron leader! Not to dampen the movie..

Here are a couple of pics of the canopy...framing is finished and just brushed a coat of thinned epoxy on the balsa. Once it dries Im going to hinge it up. Ram could you give me a measurement across the back of the Panel so I can make the cockpit opening wide enough. I want to proceed with the cockpit and canopy build but the panel from Iflytailes is not here yet. Thanks Ram

I recieved my Glennis wheels today and they are beautiful! I also used a 2.5in wheel I had left over from the ESM FW190 build on this. Now that I have my wheels, I'll get on the wings...[8D]

I just wanted to post these last pics. Here are the 5-1/4 wheels for those considering this! My measurements for these were different for both wings so in order to prevent rubbing, some trimming needed to be done. It's almost as if they're several jigs for the wings and they just throw a pair together.

Thanks! how's the weather in New Zealand? The Glennis were picked up from a gentleman in Canada for a steal! Their normally $290 +shipping.

I got word on the sets of exaust I purchased, found out that they were sent to me three weeks ago...! No package as of yet so their sending new sets. I bet customs strikes again![:'(]

Hi Guys,

Im not sure if you are still having problems getting the spinner to suit this model or not, but I just received mine from Austars Models in Australia. They still have some in stock. I ordered mine on Monday and got it on Tuesday. Its a nice looking spinner and is in nice proportion with the model.

Cheers.
