Darryl from Sierra Giant Scale retracts in Road accident
Just to let everybody know that Darryl and his wife have been involved in a motorcycle accident - they were both badly hurt with multiple injuries but are alive and recovering from surgery.
I'm sure you will all join with me in wishing them a very speedy recovery and demonstrate your patience whilst Darryl tries to get back on his feet and get back to business.
Tim and the team are working hard to keep things going smoothly in Darryl's absence

Wow, this is bad news..
I hope they are quickly on the mend, My folks rode for years with one minor crash, and that was bad enough..
Fingers crossed they heal up fast and healthy...

I'm sorry to hear that, and I hope he was wearing a helmet, that makes all the difference in a motorcycle accident.

Best wishes to Daryll and his wife, hope the both of you recover quickly and completely.
After giving it up while my kids were growing up, I am once again a biker, and LOVING it. Yes it is dangerous, but then again: so is life.
BTW, for those of you who ignored the post by glazier808: neither were wearing helmets

This is why after riding for 17 years I handed in my endorsement. Best wishes and prayers sent.

Being a motorcycle rider for 16 years since high school and being in 1 moderate accident myself I NEVER ride without a helmet. There are just too many variables when on a bike its just one chance I will not take.
