Default Top Flite C-47 (DC-3)

I picked up a 60 % built TFDC-3. It already had two Tower Hobbies 40 2 strokers mounted in it, but Iswapped them out for two O.S. FP 40 2 strokes. Iglassed and paintedher in Warbird Scheme. It's my first twin, Almost ready, waiting for the next sunny dayto add some topcoatI can't wait to get her flying. here are a few shots so far.

Thanks for the pictures, it looks great! It's good to see a real-life messy workbench too!
I have one of these kits in a little pile of "someday projects". Let us know how it flies - I suppose by the time you get it all ready the weather might be a problem. Here in Wisconsin it's getting crummy.

Thanks for the kind words, I will try to get her ready for enginetests next weekend. It's been pretty bad weather wise here the past week also,I hope I can get her flying before the winter months. It's real cold and windy by the Great South Bay.( We fly at Heckscher state Park). Once all the gear goes back in I will get a final weight. Happy landings, John

Thanks Brad, I Test ran the 2 FP 40's yesterday, both servos on 1 channel with a y connector to see how close I could get them before deciding to go to independant channels. Idle, 1/2, and full throttle all within 400 RPMof each other. Gotta LOVE the sound of two O.S. Engines singing together in PERFECTHARMONY!! Two Heavy Brass spinner nuts Is all I am waiting for (on order from LHS) balance her and she is READY!! Will keep you posted
