12 O'CLOCK HIGH Parkzone/E-FLITE MASS LAUNCH!
If you are planning to attend the inaugural “12 O’clock High” event at Paradise Field in Lakeland, FL in a few weeks be sure to bring your E-flite warbird along! They are planning on doing several MASS LAUNCHES throughout the event. They did this with HABU jets at Florida Jets, which I participated in, and we had an absolute BLAST! (pun intended).
Any offering from E-flite or Parkzone will be welcome to join. Off the top of my head I can think of their P-47, P-51, T-28, Wildcat, Corsair, Spitfire, etc, etc. I have flown most of these and they all fly the same, AWESOME! If you don’t have one yet, it’s not too late. I put mine together in less than 30 minutes and will help you with yours if you show up at the event with one in an unopened box! Also, as a bonus, Frank is giving away a 12 pack of ZAP for the best performance each day!
Custom paint schemes are encouraged, below are a few pics of my (former) P-47[:@]. I am brainstorming the scheme for my “new” one now

Looking forward to another great FTE event at an awesome field. Paradise Field has really come into its' own. It is better than many area golf fairways now that it has had a year or so to grow in.
Sean, as you know I also have the PZ P47 ready for the mass launch....looking forward to that!
As usual I will have my Wildcat/Moki 250 and will also be bringing the giant 47 "RAID HOT MAMA" back out for a couple more flights. I got the engine/cowl baffling done so as to avoid any more high temps. Also got the fuel pump replaced that I ruined by accedent. She's ready for flights 3, 4, 5...........!!
Very excited to go and counting the days. Pray for good weather!

Cool! Looking forward to it guys! Steve - how does that Spit fly? FT is thinking of getting one for himself to fly in the gaggle. Is it as good a flyer as the P-47?

The Spitfire flies very well - not as stable as the P47 but I would say it flies faster. I have only really flown mine on windy days so it will be interesting to make a comparison at 12 o,clock high.
You are welcome to fly mine if you want to try it
Steve
PS Looking forward to the new Sea Fury from Horizon

Does anyone have any documentation confirming that the original, pre-production, proof of concept, prototype OV-10 Bronco flew prior to the eligibility cut off date of the event?

I can help with the Handlaunch. It's not a pusher, is it?

Unfortuneately, I think we will be hard pressed to find the documentation on time......However, the lesser known OV-9 has been pre-approved!

Did you put the "Spit" together yet??? I have a battle tested 47 to bring. Has a bite out of the tail from some Midwest buddies playing follow the leader a little too close at Fond du Lac in August. Man that was a ball and close all the time! Very cool.

RE: 12 O'CLOCK HIGH Parkzone/E-FLITE MASS LAUNCH!
I actually had to work at my regular job today but did get to visit in the AM, at lunch and at the end of the day. Was able to put a few batteries through the PZ P-47 even though the breeze was a bit stiff, should lay down tomorrow. Flightline wasn't super busy but there were people flying the whole time I was there. And of course I got to share a few cocktails with my buddies as the sun set and talk about airplanes, my favorite part of any event!
See you tomorrow!
