Just being in this hobby you have to develop patience. I can wait I know it will be worth the wait. All the planes I bought from TF are high quality.

As for the delays, that's really common with newly released stuff no matter who the company or vendor is as someone already noted. There was a post here somewhere indicating that TopFlite had rejected the first batch due to QA issues. Knowing how TopFlite does things that would not surprise me, I know that other vendors such as Hangar 9 have experienced similar issues with the Chinese companies who build most of this stuff so that just adds to the difficulty of getting a new product out when originally projected.
It's also the reason I've not backordered one of these and won't order one 'till I get a chance to see the reviews and how many issues are still there which is another common issue with new products and I've had it happen to me when I bought something brand new from the vendor and discovered issues which were corrected with later batches. I'll just wait 'till they've been out for awhile and see what guys have to say about the model.

n8622t Glad to see you have one on order. There is light at the end of the tunnel. PS I like what you did with the giant P-40. I have yet to pull mine out of the box, but I did get a Dragon pilot for it last week on RCGroup

If anyone is interested in ordering this warbird and has not been able too, I have just ordered one and found out what the problem has been. You cannot use the order number TOPA0704 on the internet...it will not bring the product up. When you order directly from Tower Hobbies with this number and they cant find it, it is because they are using the internet to browse the product. Simply ask the Tower rep to use their ORDERING SYSTEM only when entering the stock number and your wish will come true

Thanks for the comments Handyman...the P-40 was a fun and easy build just as the P-47 was...This Corsair is going to be the same, you just cant beat the quality of a Top Flite ARF. When I compare my ESM planes to the Top Flites that I have, there really is no comparison. Strip and glass a TF and you wont have as much work in it as you will have in an ESM

I have the KMP 85'' B-25, (now known as ESM) My feelings are that they are beautiful kits, but require a lot more time to assemble than a TF plane. Also the lack of good directions doesn't make ESM kits user friendly. Yes, if you have assembled a few ARFs, ESM kits are pretty self explanatory, but I prefer TF any day!

Top Flite...great manual if you need it, great hardware, all the hard work is done for you.
ESM...throw the manual away, throw the hardware away, get ready to re-engineer everything.
[X(][&:] I feel sorry for the first time ESM buyer that thinks he is buying an ARF
