Default 1st meister build?

So I find myself back at meisters website looking at the fw190a. Just curious what the overall building experience is like. I've been mainly building topflite , Goldberg and great planes kits for the last 20 years so I guess my concern is building just off plans with only written instructions. Do they offer a FG fuse for this kit?

I started with topflite kits and moved on to building off plans. There is lots of support around if you get in a jam so don’t be put off. The Meister plans are very good about explaining what needs to be done. I am currently building the 190a myself.

I'm currently building the Vailly 190. With your building experience I really don't see a problem building of plans. The Meister 190 would be an excellent plan for your first plans build off.

As farmer has said any question can be answered here.

I have a video that shows you step by step how to build the Meister Scale 190-A that is about 4-5 hours long...You can see how to build before you buy....

Would the evolution/Seidel 9cyl 100cc radial be a good match for this plane? I would love to try a moki 150 but it's bit pricy for me.

I hear ya on the glow thing, but from I've read, they run on 100% methanol and 5-7% oil. One guy said with his 70cc he just uses a rag at the end of the day to wipe it off and only consumes 14oz for 8-9 minute of flying.

Do you have a cowl yet? Was wondering if you could let me know the dimensions?

I still need to make order to Dean for the glass parts i dont plan to make myself. I know about the fit because the Meister F4U cowling is the same size and a buddy of mine used the 150 in his.

This is also how i know how well these things fly. That bird is 50 LBS and it can fly very very slow.....I mean crazy slow.
