Source for resin exhaust stacks for BT 1/5.3 Spit?
I've seen people off and on making/selling the resin exhaust stacks for the BT 1/5.3 Spit but can't find anybody online who is currently doing it. Anybody know of a source? I'd like to get two sets....
Thanks,
Sam

try Richard Rawle in the UK. I have some of his to suit Griffon engine spit. Think he also does early 3 stubb and latter 6 stubb Merlin exhausts stubbs.
Cheers and merry Christmas hohoho

Fliteskin is the place to go as his spitfire is based on the BT spit...I have a set and they are quite nice!

Thanks for the quick responses. I've had some of Richard's exhausts for my Hurricane and they are beautiful, but the Spit exhausts would be slightly oversize. I've emailed Jose at Fliteskin and will see what he says. I didn't know IMP was still in business. I'll check them out too.
Thanks again and have a Merry Christmas!

RE: Source for resin exhaust stacks for BT 1/5.3 Spit?
Here's what I have found:
Richard Rawle makes stacks for the 1/5 scale (I have used them and they are great but are too big for the BT).
No luck at IMP.
No luck with Jose at Fliteskin - he can't get the anymore.
There was a guy in the UK who was making them but I have not had any luck in contacting him.
I could not find anything at Wylie Warbirds. The link provided had four pix of your BT Spit but that was it.
Bottom Line: I guess I will buy some casting supplies and learn to make my own.
Thanks
Sam

Unfortunately, they don't seem to have anything at all in exhaust stacks (that I could find on that website).
