Will make note of those dates and report to Flight Leader.
Hopefully no white stuff here that would make skis necessary.
Andreas
Happy building & flying.

Response to SIX GUNS
SIX GUNS, thanks for your membership and positive modeling influence here with the Spitfire Brotherhood and on other threads as well. I'm wondering if you as well as other Spitfire fans are enjoying some of the Spitfire action on "Air Aces" and other TV programs. Every program of Air Aces so far has a Spitfire diving in from out of the sun on the camera position during every segment of the programs. On the series "WARPLANES" it's great to see our beloved Spit being shown in flight at the beginning of the first program as the narrator says that warplanes can " . . . not only fight wars but end them. . . . The story of war and peace in our time is the story of the warplane." Given other events including the "Burma Spitfires" (please click on my "Time Line" for continuous Burma Spitfire updates located below the "gun documentation" https://www.facebook.com/richard.porter.167 ). Something really big could be in the works with Britain and the rest of the world. The Spitfire just might be the key to victory one more time in history!
Although I am practicing with other fighter planes at the moment, my strategy is to commemorate the Battle of Britain on an appropriate day in September, flying my Hurricane and Spitfire fighters. I probably ought to already be flying the Hurricane by now, or at least fly it first since it was a first line fighter in the battle. Bader and his attacking Hurricanes are shown very impressively taking out attacking German warplanes in the first episode of Air Aces. A neat thing about the HH Hurricane is that it is a close scale size with my PZ Messerschmitts that shows just how small the 109 is compared to most other WWII fighters when the models are together.
Rolling in to attack from out of the sun now!
Out!
All of my pictures even those copied and sent to two (2) different e-mail addresses to enjoy good back up protection have now evidently been permanently lost. They say, "it's always the one you don't see that gets you."

''mad thorium batteries'' typed in Yahoo and/or Google brings up some great information about thorium.

Welcome Rupa,
very nice Spitfire. I especially like the "Maple Leaf" if I may say.
I am sure Number 1 Flight Leader will add you quickly to the squadron.

Spitfire. ESM 72 inch Update
mine is just about ready to fly, been held up waiting for retracts, I wanted Sierra's but cant get hold of him and no one had stock, so I settled for Century Jet air, I had been assured they would fit, they sort of do, the big problem is the retract unit is quit a bit narrower than the bearers, so it means the attachment bolts are VERY close to the edge of the bearers, the engine is a DLE 35 rear exhaust, so it will have heaps of power, no I wont be flying it on the 4 blade, hope to do the test flight within the next week.

I have the prototype set of the CJM retracts in my Spitfire and they fit perfect. Sounds like ESM has made some changes if yours don't fit right. My plane is four years old and I've never had a problem or failure. It will also help to spread a little fiberglass around the mounting blocks and wood around the mounting blocks. Your plane looks great. Mine has always required a little down elevator trim but other than that it flies fast and smooth. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!

I picked up a Kyosho Spitfire 50 EP earlier this year, 5S with a 500KV turnigy, split flaps, flies better than scale with a 13x8 prop, well with a 14x8, seemingly unlimited vert with a 15x8.
Is equipped with a pair of '08 vintage LADO retracts, just spring wire struts, no doors.
