Hi all,
here is a small present for you. You can use it as a sticker (label) on your car or equipment box.
So Marry Xmas and happy new year!
good job Perkin, you could make money making vanes and selling them, I had to get mine in the UK last year.

Most seem to be using Zap or West Systems. I have used Zap with good results. I have done some testing with Minwax Polycrylic and i believe when the time comes i will use Minwax.
Thanks Brother Steve!!
I will look at all three. Now you see how long I been out of the loop!!!
Thanks again and Merry Xmas!!!

Hi Vasek,
I think, that it is bad way how I can earn some money. I spent more than 4 hours over this picture. I would have sell a lot of this picture or vaves. If you want I can draw another one airplane for you.
Here are some other. But the Bf-109´s canopy is not perfect. []

Steve, you can print it on the very big peace of paper, which will be over the all wall!

If you look closely in the latest ModelAviation mag(page 36), unless I'm incorrect, that's our squadron member # 41s spitfire...

Congrats Bruno!

The Jtec muffler arrived yesterday, i think this is going to work out very nicely with an O.S. 1.08. Also ran across the pilot from my now deceased Ziroli B-25. May be a bit small but should work ok.

Muffler looks good.

The pilot actually looks a touch large. The spitfire is really a small airplane.

When I saw the picture of the pilot, I got all excited and was going to ask where you found it, as it seems I'm always in need of one. Oh well..........

Steve #144;
Here are a few shot of the Top Flite Spit's build. As you can see the size of the cockpit. I still have some work to do on my cockpit. I was hoping that your pilot would work. If you could post the height from the pilot butt to the top of the head, I can tell you if it would work. Like da Rock, I also like the muffler setup.!!

If that vertical stab would have hit that guy in #3, he would have never known it. Wow!
The pilot was produced years ago by Circus Circus. Hard telling where the mold might be these days. I agree, it is difficult to find decent pilots that come with a reasonable cost.
This one measures 4 5/8" from the bottom of his butt to the top of his head. It measures 3" wide across the elbows. Thanks for the offer to check that. Those dimensions could be reduced some if needed.

Hi Steve (#144),
With the dimensions you gave, it will not work in my cockpit. The head would be above the canopy. As you know from the plans, the cockpit floor sit on top of F4 and F5, but it has a cutout in the floor that will help you install the Top Flite Cockpit kit they have for this bird. I had to move the receiver and retract servo from where they shown on the plans, to the area where you have the pilot sitting on your plans. As you see in the pictures in my last post, the dimensions from the bottom of the seat to the top of the canopy is right at 3 5/8". The 3" you have from elbows to elbows will fit, bit a bit on the tight side. Now if you can find a pilot who has a dimension of 3 to 3 1/2" from bottom of the butt to the top of his head will work. I don't know if you have any dollar stores where you live, but I have found some doll that make good pilots, but then you have to find the pilot suit to fit them.
I hope this help!!

Hey Sonny and OldScaleGuy,

Sonny your cockpit looks even tighter than my install on the Hangar 9 Spitfire.

I have a 1/9 scale pilot figure on order from Century Jets since the 1/7 size was too tall.
Will let you know the size from top to seat when it arrives. That may not be till the New Year.

Have the robostrut 650's installed. I love the way they look.
Too bad that I can't install the strut skirts, as the robos are too thick.

Andreas
Happy building and flying.
