Looks good CRJ Driver you should bring your spitfire to the RC Barnstorms memorial flyin on Aug.15-16 .It would be nice to have some other spitfires there besides mine. There will not be any entry fee Hillsdale Reservior,Kansas this is for warbirds and scale.

Will the Barnstormers be sanctioned? If not, will there be info on the club's website?

Hi, I have two Spitfire. One is a small electric and the other is yet unfinished. Can anyone ID the manufacturer of this one I picked up at a swap meet. Looks about 70 inch span.

I would like to join the Spitfire Brotherhood. Thanks.

Sincerely, Richard

I have a yellow aircraft MK 14 in the box. Supposed to be sold, but who knows? I also have a H-9 30cc Spitfire that I will fly until covering gets bad, then strip it glass it and scale it out a bit.

That last crash damaged more than I realized before I took the plane apart - report upcoming.

Just picked up a Mk2 Spit at our local Swap Meet. 71" Wingspan. Going to power it with a YS 115 to begin with. If that's a little underpowered I have a YS 160dz that I'll put in.

Love to join in the brotherhood please. From Michigan, USA.

It's a Vantex model. http://hobbiestree.com/vantex-spitfi...-warbirds.html

Same company makes the HK Spit.

KittyKatjaz,

I still have some things to sort out. But it is coming along. I'm glad you sent a pic of your spar modification. I ended up doing something very similar and I think it will really pay off. Your wing is really looking good also. Wishing us both luck.

Hi Gary

I have a 5" aluminum Spinner with backplate and extensions & spacers. There is a very small dent that can be seen in photo.

If you can make it work, the price is $50.00 shipped anywhere in USA.

Send me a e-mail if you or anyone else is interested.

Hi Gary,
All you have to do is build up your cowl with epoxy and microballoons 1/16 of an in. and your at 5 in. Great for fitting odd ball sizes.
Good luck.
Thanks, Fred Menna Check6
