Black Hore is making some really interesting planes Check out this.
The video looks good too.
A lil' work bashing) and this could be a really neat and rarely seen plane !

Wow, now that's a unique plane!

Pretty nice looking too with working inner gear doors and retracts.

Looked like it flew well in the video too. Wonder is it will come to the US soon so we can see it there?

Love the fact that they are coming out with some unique birds but the Wyvern is just pure UGLY. Good moments though and it probably flies really well. I prefer their new Mc.200 myself and the Sea Fury ain't bad either, though it can't really be considered unique anymore.

That Macchi looks great, 10 out of 10 for opening the 'other warbird' book too [8D]

Can't stand the Macchi, but like the Wyvern. That's why there are so many choices. I want someone to make a nice Hawker Heart or Hind ARF

I managed to speak with one of the higher-ups from Hobby People at the recent AMA show. The Macchi is due mid-February. I believe he said the Wyvern is due then, too, but I'm not positive on that one.

Cool,
I hope however that they sell them for a lil less than what yhe other BHM planes are going for. Don't get me wrong, I have several, and really live the ones I have; but planes like the Stuka and fw190 are as if not more expensive than kmp/ esm birds, which are by most standards more scale and potentially better ARF's.
I'm not wanting to stir up that conversation yet again, but wish to point out (if you're listening BHM and distributors there-of) that I would bet sales would be increased several fold if the prices were even marginally less (say $20-$25bucks less) than the ESM or silarly scaled warbird arf's.

Now THAT is a unique looking airplane! The variety of these new ARFs is amazing, and it's just getting better!

I'm in the camp that the macci is ugly, but it's kinda like a pug, or bulldog, that i's so ugly; it's in-fact good looking.
I found a link that shows more pics of it. Some new retracts, bigger wheels, a faux radial and a fresh paint job could do wonders for that plane.

The Wyvern prototype with Rolls Royce Eagle engine looks pretty cool to me. Photos on Airliners.net:

Noflaps-

Don't know if you have seen David Wigley's WW but here it is at Top Gun. I talked with David at the Scale Masters last year and this plane is a work of art. The rear prop is the drive prop and the front prop free wheels. David designed and built the prop setup himself....another work of art.

Yessir~
I've watched the video many times and marveled at the system. Makes more sense that the front one freewheels, I had always assumed it was the rear, but thought it would interrumpt the propwash and create "dirty" turbulance.
Great stuff and makes most of us (me included) look like an ametuer. [8D]

JUST TRYING TO KEEP THINGS INERESTING AND GETING EVERYONE'S IMAGNATION GOING AT THE FIELD.
HOWEVER, JUDGING BY THE COST OF THEIR OTHER BIG CC PLANES; UNLESS THERE'S A LIQUIDATION SALE...THIS ONE LOOKS TO PROBABLY B BEYOND MY PAY GRADE.
ONE CAN ALWAYS DREAM I GUESS.

IN THE PAST, I HAD THOUGHT OF CONVERTING A SEAFURY INTO ONE OF THESE (VERY SQUINT SCALE OF COURSE).

WHO KNOWS MAYBE VAMODELBUILDERS, VQ MODELS OR HOBBY PEOPLE WILL HAVE A HUGE SALE ONE DAY.

NoFlaps,

I am with you on the planes....the stranger the better

I really want a Hawker Heart or Hind, but there aren't any out there. This would be a fun one too: (Vickers Wellesley bomber)

Jmohn,

I completely agree.
P.S. I have a set of plans for a .60 size Hind if you have the time to build it.

NoFlaps,

That would be great, but not sure I have the time. I could maybe find someone in my club to frame it for me? There is a great older guy that frames as he can't fly anymore, but does some fantastic building.

What's the wingspan then?

Also, the Macchi is neat looking I just don't like Italian stuff

Just kidding .... love pizza and spagetti

Another cool one woudl be a nice scale Rata I6 with a glas fuze and detailed cockpit. That's alway been a neat little plane and would be a fun one to fly around. Probably not an easy plane to fly like a Geebee, but cool.

Jeff,

Same here... I tried to buy plans of that one I saw on e-bay, but I didn't win the bid (I'm terrible at e-bay).
An Il-2 would be nice as well.
Good thung we don't live in the same town or we'd be egging each other on to get new planes all the time.

Oh yeah!!!

An IL-2 is anothe great one!

That Blackhorse P-36 also looks nice, but is just a little small. Maybe ESM will start doing some really strange planes in the future that have less wing incidence in them

I have some plans for an He-100 that I want to try someday too, but need to scale them up a little.
