I'm trying to find the best engine with great performance, without hacking out the cowl.

Aircraft weight: 28-36 pounds

Opinions:

1) Zenoah G62
2) DLE 55
3) DA 60
4) 3w75
5) DA 50

Any others you can think also are welcome.

Oh another site (rcscalebuilders.com) some are using the 3w85 and some the 3w75. Those two seem to work fine with the 75 being just a tad smaller inside the cowl.

I have one and it flys good with a quadra 75. I would think of the choices you have listed I would go with the 3w 75. I had a 3w 60 that was a very good engine. I would think the 3w would fly it noticeably better than my quadra does. Good luck, Kevin.
