Default CG for YA Spitfire?

My sweet sweet wife (who is looking over my shoulder right now) cleaned up my work shop and somehow I can't find the plans and info to my Yellow Aircraft Spitfire which I am almost ready with. Anyone out there have the CG measurements? Thanks for your help
Alan

5 1/2" to 5 3/4" measured from the LE at the root, gear retracted I assume.

Read "The complete Yellow Aircraft Spitfire" thread on this site for more on the CG (and other topics!)

I am actually flying mine a touch in front of the 5 1/2" to be safe and intend to remove some nose weight either through lightening the spinner backplate or removing lead as I get a feel for where I want it.

How does it handle the forward cg?

Fine in the air, It's touchy on the ground, tippy, but I've shimmed the gear forward and that should help. Now to dial it in flying.
