Jimmy, if you asked me ( ? ), and if you meant "sell" instead of "sale" ( ? ), then I can inform you that we Norwegians cannot buy anything from Horizon.

But hat doesn't matter much to us, really, anyway.

We can just as well wait for a shipment directly from Japan, rather than wait for it going first to the US, then to Europe.

You might cut me a little slack since I'm typing this on an iPhone with auto correct spelling, a tiny keyboard , and a tiny screen.... I thought I was doing pretty good

I just got a quote for an FG33R3 from this source. How reputable is RC Japan?

Call me crazy, but I'm going to convert the FG33R3 to CDI/methanol. It's only about $2 more than the FA200R3 from RC Japan & Horizon has discontinued the FA200R3 anyway. I'll be $$$ ahead just buying the $40 glow fuel carburetor rather than a $200 CDI.

If you haven't seen this .... just WOW!! Adding in the Bf-109 and the P47 with the P51. Rare to see all together. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/qhAgU-GUc1Q" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

I keep up W/Horizon's stock & they haven't had the "gas" radials in stock yet.

No big deal since they are about 50% higher tha RC Japan & the shipping charge isn't that much different.

I got my FG-84 today. It took 8 days from ordering until it arrived here in the local post-office.

I guess the customs-officers must have taken Christmas holiday already, and everything is just passing straight through!!

RC-Japan is very reliable, I hear from friends here in Norway.

I had problems finding some spare parts, and asked them via mail, and they added the correct parts to my order.
A girl called Wendy Hope helped me on that ( Artist name for westerners? )

I've been lurking here for a while now, as I build two FW-190's. I'll have "best pilots" in both of them, and will be posting a story on the best pilots site when I get them done. I used Sierra tailwheels in both. It took a bit of work, but they look much better and should help ground handling by keeping the tail higher. The 2 1/2" tailwheel looks closer to scale size and should give more bite as well. I cut a window in the vertical stab to allow me to make a mount for the top of the tail wheel. Other than that they went in without a problem. Here's a couple of photos.

I was there to see the FW for its first flight but we were rained out. They started it for us to hear which was cool. The next time I went was Luftwaffe day so we watched the FW and 109 fly together. It was amazing to me that the 109 was so much louder than the FW. Both very inspiring and so great to watch fly instead of sitting in the museum.

Just awesome!

I'll have more info showing how I changed the look. My goal is to make them as nice as they can be while still keeping the MonoKote covering. Here's a couple more "in progress" photos.

I like the idea of keeping the MonoKote.

I put my order in with Horizon Steve...they came into stock about 4 weeks later so that's what I would suggest.
That will give you some time to absorb the Christmas crunch on the pocket book anyway
