Ordered it direct from the company at http://www.pneumadyne.com/. You'll also have to find two 10-32 to 1/16 barb fittings.

Could someone tell me what the weight is of the 2 bladed spinner that comes with this plane? The weight spec is no where to be found on the tower or Top flite sites.

JSZ,

I don't know that much about the history of the FW-190, but is that Winter camo for the Russian Front?

Hi, everybody! Here also came true! I made the third flight! The first didn't manage to be photographed two on video. That I want to tell, the plane tremendous! I meanwhile fly highly, I am afraid below, for a motor cause of failure. The plane is quite obedient and predictable. Thanks to all who took part in discussion at a forum!

I am so unbelievably sick of these robart retracts. They sent me the replacement trunion with supposedly harder pins and on my one landing yesterday they bent still. The plane made a perfect landing and made a slight turn on rollout and the gear bent......again.

What dia is that pin ? 1/4 inch perhaps? In that case; Why not take a long 1/4 inch bolt and cut it. Use the non-threaded part as a pin.

Then it will be the last thing that is bendt on that plane, forever.

Use a dremel for cutting...

I finally glassed the wings today. Been flying in bare wood underside for a long time now.

But now its done. Monokote; The invention of the Devil himself.

Sparky, thanks for congratulations! Mpizpilot, I used the main ESM electric retrakta. There the same didn't do without problems. On the first landing, after a sharp turn one of drive axes broke. As in the retraktakt the inch carving is used, I had to make both details of an axis and a shaft, anew, with a metric carving. The main problem in axis thickness, it is equal 6 mm, after drilling of an opening, there are very thin walls of a detail and it breaks after side loading. You can look in pictures, the axis is allocated in red color. I made a detail with a diameter of 7 mm., I hope that it will well work. I ask to excuse for my English if something isn't clear, ask again!

How difficulty is it to remove the pins to replace with harder pins, if the need arises?

They're welded in, so I guess you'd have to grind and drill them out.

Very frustrating. I am sure you've done this but if not, check your wheels to make sure they are toed out. I too had this problem and after toeing out the wheels about 2 to 5 degrees the the pin bending stopped. I land on concrete runway. had my fw190 since 2012. I also have williams bros wheels.

I wish somebody else offered a drop in gear for this plane. I have one all ready to go but I don't want to waste my money on the Robarts.

Hello friends, I end up using 3 pound weight, with a DEL61cc using electric Robarts. Is that sounds right to you??
What about the factory CG, it’s OK for flight or maybea nose heavy for start testing??
For the Robart electric mains retracts, the strutsneed to be file flat where the two clamping bolts in the retract adjust them?? Inorder to prevent the strut stars rotating??
Best regards
Erwin

I did not file the struts and have had no rotation issues. The cg is correct. These planes need about 2500 g total to set up correctly. They are more nose heavy wheels down that with wheels up.

happy landings!
