He didn't want to know what it was about or anything. 3 days now and still nothing. Sorry, but if one holiday puts you behind so far that in this day and age you can't respond to an email within 3 days than maybe you should hire more people. Or maybe you should make your parts available through other vendors.

Here's a drone shot of the airfield.. I may add some pics to the Flying site thread, as you suggest - thanks!

I am wondering whether a dle 55 will fit the cowl horizontally without excessively cutting the cowl. I am asking this because I have a muffler which will fit only horizontally.

There are a few pics of the CJM gear. I was told they would be a drop in fit. Not even close. Very disappointed and going to try and return the gear and get my money back.

You could remove the aft wall of the wheel well , you know, in front of were the cylinder is supposed to be.

Perhaps it can be dropped in then, sliding in from the front,,,,

That won't work kwik. You would have to remove the rib that the inside retract mount is glued to. I was told these were going to be a drop in fit with no mods needed.

How sad is that.

If they had fit, they look quite okay otherwise.

But remember; Drilling new fastening holes is something one expect to do on any retract.

Seems easy to do on that plate. Just make a paper template, and transfer the positions to the plate.

And a 5 seconds job with the Dremel on the wing, and voila, here we go!

Hmmmm....to bad that will weaken the inner fastening rib ....seems you cannot win in this case.
