I was on ebay last night looking at engines, found only one DLE 30cc, but lot of listings for a AGM 30cc. it looks like the DLE with the Name changed on it. Ordered two of them, so I took down the for sale add for the 110 and placed the RGC 26 on ebay, got two bids on it now at $22.

Hi Kahloq, I'm building the 110 electric, this is my setup
Hacker A60 - 22S x 2
ESC Fullpower 90 Amp HV X2
Prop 17,9 x 11 3 blade varioprop X2
Batt Fullpower 8S 5000 40C X2
Custom Sierra Air retracts
What you think ?
Also I plan to position the batteries in front of the fuse and the esc in the engine nacelles but I' worry about the lenght of the cables from the batt to the esc. Any suggestions.
Last, I read on various forums about the CG position and distances very differents. I'm bit confused now. I'm sure that the trick to have a good flying 110 is the correct CG.
Can you help me?
Thank you

Ciao Kahloq, the bf110 is my first twin and I'm not sure how to connect the 2 engines on the radio. I'm using an MX22 HOTT with 12 ch rx , do I have to use 2 separate channel or an Y will be enought ? The cables ( 6mm) that run from the ESC in the nacelles to the batteries in the nose are 29" long, what do you think?

If you have the channels then I would use one channel for each so you can make individual adjustments to sync the engines. If not, then a Y will work ok and you can make adjustments mechanically

Nope. Btw, I have waited nearly two years for a new canopy here in Norway. It was broken on both my kits when I opened the boxes

I see that VQ Warbirds has Ty Browns excellent canopies and cockpit kits. But the 110 canopy is missing in the inventory.

That is really too bad, since almost everyone buying the 110 will need a replacement. Ty, where are you?

I think it would need to be in 2 or perhaps even 3 pieces. If the gunner-part was in one piece, it would be easier to make the gunners part open-close.

I agree on Ty, could also try Firepower. The 110 isn't listed yet, but checkout the note on the ESM canopy page concerning if someone with an undamaged, untrimmed canopy would let them borrow it to make a plug....
Not sure if Ty does the same thing, but worth dropping both of them a line

I thought I would never get back working on my 110, looked like rain today and the weather was cool so I figure I would go outside in the yard and try starting the engines. This is the 3rd and final set of engines I am going to install on this plane, settled for a pair of AGM 30cc gassers. Reason I put off getting back to work on this plane was the AGM engines have a carb linkage set up which I find difficult to work with. I took the carbs off and ordered a pair of DLE carbs they have the linkage more in line with what I am use to working with, the levers are workable and easier to attach to the throttle linkage. I have the choke hooked to wire which will come through the bottom of the cowl.
As it turned out these engines both started on the first try, closed the choke and turned it over with a starter, it poped so I opened the choke and turned it over again and it started immediately. for new engines they idled and ran decent on the first try.

Wow! 30cc twin.. My "destroyer" was too fast w/ DLE20's. your plane is seriously way overpowered... I applaud you, sir!!! Way to go!!! I've been missing mine since it's demise and I very much wanted a twin again... I bought the DC-3 but it's still sitting on a shelf in the "man-cave" since it doesn't do anything for me... The BF-110 is my all time favorite!

I am back on the VQ site thinking of buying the Val and keeping the cost down by taking one of the AGM 30cc from the 110 to fly in the Val but that seems like lot of work, gotta think on this a little more before I do it.

I know the feeling.."almost ready to fly, soon to be scrap, warbird brotherhood"... I bumped the rudder on the 110 or the kids knocked the fuselage over and stripped the rudder servo, got another I am waiting on from Tower Hobbies, I may get to fly it this weekend if The servos arrives and I get it swapped out..
Here is the flight video on YouTube from the last flight before the current engine change out, video by club member Rick Reynolds.
