Hi Roger, Still no reply to my email. He must be very busy. I hope he is still building his P-51D TF g/s Mustang.
I still have not started my build yet until I have all the items to finish the build.
Cheers
John

Hi John; I haven't seen Goose for quite a while, so he has to be really busy or away some where. I heard from a good source that he has put the P-51D build aside until winter arrives, that's when he should have more free time to continue the build. I built the TF P-51D several years ago.

Hi Roger,
I was just sitting here checking a few thing out when I thought I would see about some wheels. Nice model. I was thinking about doing mine in Australian colours. Our Mustangs were only there (WWII) in 1945. They the went to Korea If that how you spell it.
Okay thanks again.

Hi guys...
Still here, yes very busy during summer attending and running events, running flight school, lots of event photography etc etc
Correct Roger! The '51 has been put aside for summer... all the time in the workshop lately has been machining up retracts for a buddy.
The weather is quickly turning to crap so I have cleaned out the workshop and gotten ready for the next big push on the Mustang. This is it... the last winter to finish this bird. Many reasons for this, several too ugly to mention here!
Restart in the next short while.
Thanks a lot for watching guys, much appreciated.

Hay Goose,
I contacted Patrick from Solo props. Seems a very nice guy. He's make up some props for me so i can test what is the better 4 blade for the engine I am going to use. I have some other bad news, but will talk about it later just in case the guy does the right thing.
Cheers

Hello Goose,
It should be just about time my friend (winter) to re start your Mustang!! Every thing I would have to buy now from the US will be a bit dear as our Australia dollar has falling. I'll just have to save hay.

Pilotx, That is a nice job you have done. Do you know how Tony Howard is. Last time I spoke to him by email he had trouble with his back.

Hello again Rodger,
I hope you are okay now. My TF is still in the box as I am trying to buy the bits from USA I need to start. But our dam dollar has dropped which means I need more money to buy stuff. I was hopping that Tony Howard would have finished his cowl and air scoop. But with the cold weather he has and his back playing up it maybe some time before he has them ready as a kit to sell. All we can do is hope and pray all is well.

puncho1 why not use your kit bubble and make a slider out of it, not that hard to do. I did a thread on it and will see if I can dig it up if you want to see how it's done.

Hey guys...
Merry Xmas, Happy New Year to you all. I hope you got lots of great stuff over the break.
Been a while... life has a habit of getting in the way along with divorce and back injuries, it's been a fun time. I do get to keep the workshop for now so with the new year already under way, I've been tinkering yesterday along with a big cleanup for the next push.
There is still a lot to do on the Mustang but slow and steady wins the race.
I'm working on the radiator doors this weekend and have already simplified a couple of earlier decisions.
Cheers!
