Kansas Tornado P47 @ Tiger
Hi All been a while,
Well thought I would post up some photos of my latest build which is a Comp ARF P47,this one is for John B.
One of the big tasks was to add the 1000's of rivets!!! as the kit is lacking in this department.
So here we go, starting of at the tail, the one on the right is how it comes, and as you can see not much there!!!
Cheers Graham B

Ha Ha love it Andy,
There are not many good schemes of the T bolt that has not been done but this one was a must, document wise only a few B/W photos, but I think I have done my best to match.
Regards Graham

Truely a work of art, the rivets, well I love rivets. Come to expect that coming from the UK, many of you are on top of the heap. Can you elaborate just a little on how you did the rivets, I'm really impressed and what scale is your plane ?. Leroy

I want to publicly thank Graham for his work on this P47. Look forward to taking her to Warbirds over Delaware and Top Gun. Here are some additional photos Graham took at the UK Large Model Association (LMA) during this past week.

Eventually I will have to get the ba!!s to fly her. Most likely will need to do the maiden flight at your field or maybe the FREE STATE AEROMODELERS (FSA) site. Ineed to drive over to FSAsometime to check it out.
This P47 and the other large warbirds (LA7 and FW190) are just too big for SWAP field.

Hi John,
Many thanks for your kind words and I know it has been a wait for you on her but hopefully worth it, already looking forward to the flying vids!!!
Again, the photos don't pick up the chrome finish, well on my camera so I have her booked in for a Photo shoot at Duxford with our press guys who are itching to see her before she goes across the pond!!
Best Regards Graham

Hi Leroy,
Many thanks, yes I love rivets well I did,
The rivets are applied straight onto the gel coat using the brass tube and soldering,as this plane is all comp you just have to be a bit more careful and not burn right through.
She is just under 1/4 scale, span is 110"
Regards Graham
