Default Please help who makes this 89in p51

Hey guys. As stated before. A good flying buddy has passed away. And now I'm trying to help his wife get rid of his birds.
I already bought one of his topflite p47 and may buy this mustang also if its worth it. If not I need help so I can help her sell it

I don't have any info. It's all balsa. The wing measures 89in and is a single wing. The retracts are way meaner looking than the robarts that were in my TopFlite P51

its got 1/4 size old servos and no motor. And is not fiberglass ex and the covering is exstremly wrinkled.

Thanks guys

I would guess that it is most likely a Pica kit.

That plane was designed around a 30cc glow. If the 80 will fit, go for it.

Its a bulkhead glued to not a lot, designed to beam mount a glow motor, if you start putting ridiculous motors in, you will have to break apart the fornt end, and box former the thing, i have seen these fly very very well on mere zenoah 38s, mine is to have a 3w 60, and although its been built around this motor, its WAY over the top, i have the plans if you want to know anything

Agree with AlanC,

I too have a partially built Pica 88 inch kit and a 3w-50 or 3w-60 is my choice as well.
If beam Mount still in and you want glow, Moki 2.1 is a great choice.

only reason i am keeping with the 3W60 install is i have the very motor that had its fins thinned out for the stang, andmanifoldand canister that goes back into the fuselage, everything, including thecarb, is under the cowl, i cant claim kudos for it, ibought it like that, mine also has byron doors, wheels, and inner doors, with an air sequencer unit, but its high time it was finished
